Sustainable jewelry manufacturer committed to responsible design.
Sustainability in jewelry manufacturing is easy to say and hard to do well. The industry has a long history of vague claims, opaque supply chains, and materials described as responsible because nobody looked closely enough to say otherwise.
Tru-Style approaches it differently. Not with a list of certifications that covers every scenario, but with a genuine commitment to making better choices at every stage: the materials we specify, the suppliers we work with, the design thinking we bring to each collection, and the way we talk about all of it with clients.
For stones and pearls, responsible sourcing means working with trusted suppliers, maintaining material traceability where possible, and avoiding high-risk sources. It means selecting materials that meet quality and compliance standards rather than simply the lowest price point. It's not a fixed claim because supply chains are not fixed. It's an ongoing process of verification and improvement.
For metals, we work with suppliers who can provide material compliance documentation including REACH compliance where required, and testing reports to support client specifications. Recycled metals are available across our range for brands that want to reduce the environmental footprint of their collections.
For organic and bio-based materials, our R&D team continuously works to identify and test new options: biodegradable acetate, recycled PET, apple skin leather, algae foam. These are not marketing concepts. They are materials we have sourced, tested, and built into our production capability.
The sustainability focus at Tru-Style grew from a simple belief: good design should consider its impact on people and the planet. That belief shapes how collections are developed, not just what materials go into them.
Upcycled components, mixed-material constructions that extend the life of a piece, and designs built for longevity rather than a single season are all part of how we think about what we make. A piece that lasts three years has a fundamentally different footprint than one that lasts three months.
We communicate sustainability as exactly that: a journey rather than a destination. Our certifications and compliance documentation are expanding as part of a long-term development programme. We're straightforward about what we can verify today and what we're working towards.
For brands building a more responsible collection, whether that means a full sustainable range or adding considered material options to an existing line, the conversation starts with materials.
