Brass is our most common base metal, used across the majority of our jewelry and hardware range for its workability, weight, and finish quality. Zinc alloy is available for more complex cast constructions. Recycled brass and recycled aluminium are available for brands with sustainable sourcing requirements. Stainless steel is an option for collections where longevity and tarnish resistance are priorities.
Plating finishes include gold in multiple tones, silver, rhodium, and anti-tarnish protective coatings. Recycled silver is available as a base material for brands building a traceable, responsible supply chain.
We work to three plating thicknesses depending on the brief. Flash plating at 0.03 to 0.05 microns suits fashion and trend-driven products with shorter wear cycles. Standard plating at 0.1 to 0.3 microns balances cost and durability for most fashion jewelry applications. Heavy plating at 0.5 microns and above is available for pieces where extended wear and durability are part of the brand promise.
Nickel release compliance is available where required, including REACH-aligned standards for brands selling into European markets. Wear resistance, adhesion, and tarnish resistance testing can be built into the production process based on client specification.
Incoming materials are inspected against specification before production begins. During production, dimensional, structural, and surface finish checks are applied at casting, polishing, and plating stages. Plating thickness and colour consistency are verified before pieces move to final inspection.
Every piece goes through 100% visual inspection before packing. Functional components such as clasps and joints are checked individually. Random sampling for durability testing is conducted before shipment. Packaging is checked to confirm pieces are properly protected in transit.
This is not a checklist we apply when something goes wrong. It is the standard process on every order.
